Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in our bodies.
It maintains a good level of skin hydration by capturing water and storing it in our skin’s deep layers.
To recreate volume, I use highly crosslinked hyaluronic acids (Juvederm: Voluma,Volift, Volbella- Restylane-Stylage). Thanks to their deeper adhesive and cohesive abilities, they do not migrate, which allows me to create sophisticated injection treatments. I inject a few products at judiciously chosen spots.
Once in the skin, the gel retains water and mixes with the hyaluronic acid of the dermis. The volumizing effect gives the skin its initial appearance, elasticity and tonicity, so the wrinkle is resorbed. Hyaluronic acid is a biodegradable product that develops naturally in the body.
For skinboosters, I opt for non-volumizing hyaluronic acid (Restylane Skinbooster Vital, Skinboosters Vital Light, Volite).
(botox, Vistabel, Azzalure) is a substance derived from a bacterium called clostridium botulinum. Injected in very small doses into a muscle, it temporarily causes the gradual relaxation of the muscle. It is a resorbable product whose effects are completely reversible after 6 months and without any danger to the body.
Injected in infinitesimal amounts, the botulinum toxin smooths the skin. The face looks more relaxed. The wrinkles are blurred but the face remains mobile. The result is therefore perfectly natural.
The result of an injection is visible from the fourth and fifth days and optimal ten days later.
The use of botulinum toxin often goes hand in hand with injections of hyaluronic acid for overall management.
